<br />ORDINANCE #491 CONT'D <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #494 <br />REGARDING LICENSE OF <br />ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br />INTERSECTION OF SOUTH <br />BOULDER ROAD & MAIN STREET <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman McDonald <br />moved that Ordinance #491 be adopted under <br />the amended regulations and with the <br />change made in Section 8.2, to read that <br />the Police Chief report to the City <br />Administrator any violations of police <br />officers. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Roll call. Domenico yes, <br />Caranci no, DiCarlo no, McDonald yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, DiLorenzo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Ordinance #494 on second <br />reading by title only. He stated that <br />this ordinance complies with the State <br />Statutes that the City no longer li- <br />censes Electrical Contractors however <br />registers them in the City. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br />#494 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Roll call. Domenico yes, <br />DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />McDonald yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney's report as presented by Mr. Wurl <br />be accepted and placed on file. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Domenico. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City Engineer <br />and Police Cheif have reviewed the inter- <br />section and have come up with a recom- <br />mendation that there be a temporary re- <br />alignment of the intersection with an <br />island installed on Main Street and two <br />stop signs installed; stopping vehicles <br />turning left onto South Boulder Road and <br />the other turning right; the old signs <br />on South Boulder Road would be removed <br />making it a through street. <br />Council stated they would like to have <br />railroad warning signs posted on all <br />three streets. Council stated their feelings <br />on the intersection. <br />The fact that children unload school buses <br />on South Boulder Road was brought up as <br />the speed limit is high and makes it <br />dangerous for children to be walking on <br />the side of the street. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
