BOULDER & MAIN ST. <br />INTERSECTION CONT'D <br /> <br />PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS <br /> <br />CLEAN UP PROGRAM <br /> <br />CEMETERY RULES & REGULATIONS <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City has received <br />grant money to install school crossing <br />signals for the children. <br />After discussion Councilman McDonald moved <br />that the City install a three way stop at <br />the intersection; and also railraod <br />warning signs to be placed on South <br />Boulder Road and Main Street. Seconded <br />by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl~ated that the staff recommends <br />that the cross walks be repainted at <br />first and place pedestrian crossing <br />signs to see if that helps solve the <br />problem of motorists not stopping for <br />persons attempting to cross Main St. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated to Council that he would <br />like to Council to consider if they <br />would like to have a clean up program. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the trash <br />area near Marshall owned by Coulder <br />County should be watched and if the trash <br />from that dump travels into the City <br />they should be turned in. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl asked Council to review the <br />rules and regulations for discussion at <br />the March meeting. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he did not <br />feel that the City should have to maintain <br />the portion of the Cemetery owned by <br />different organizations. He also stated <br />that he felt only certain type of plants <br />should be allowed to be planted. <br />City Administrator Wurl stated that the <br />City would have complete control and <br />asked that Council review the regulations <br />and discuss them at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Correspondence was reviewed by Mr. Wurl. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Council- <br />man McDonald. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that the <br />fire department would like to use the <br />the generator at the sewer plant if the <br />City is not using it.
