The McKinstry sustainability report is not available until the end of June, <br />we can expect an update at the July PPLAB meeting. <br />Projects: <br />Medians and Playgrounds <br />Council approved the budget of median project last night; Bryan (Parks <br />manager) reported to Council that all of the bids were over budget. <br />Parks Department is paring down the design elements to meet budget. <br />Council approved an increased budget, seeking a happy medium. Parks <br />will proceed forward with contacts by July meeting. Selecting Green <br />Landscapes Solution contractor, "shovel" timing to be decided in July or <br />August. <br />For Playgrounds renovation, Council approved KCI of Longmont, CMGC <br />arrangement. <br />Parks is proceeding with a land survey for Meadows and Joe Carnival <br />parks and is working on designs. Potential designs may be available for <br />PPLAB July meeting (July 5tn) <br />We have applied for grants for the Enclave and Sunflower Parks from <br />GoCo and Great Outdoors Colorado. We expect to hear results in late <br />August or September for year-end funding, with construction beginning <br />in Spring 2024, and expect to tie construction to storm water project. A <br />Quiet Space feature is planned for Enclave Park. <br />Construction to begin for playground at Enclave in the Fall, medians <br />later this Summer. Median renovation construction will focus on <br />McCaslin and Via Appia medians first, followed by Dillon road median. <br />We have received a grant from Colorado Garden Foundation for the <br />Marshall Fire area, $20,132 to be presented in July. <br />6 <br />
