combined, to be decided June 201". First reading of proposal language will <br />be in first July Council meeting, second reading will occur at second July <br />meeting. Tax proposal from Taskforce raised Open Space Tax from current <br />0.375% to 0.5%, with 10 year Sunset. We can expect some specificity of <br />allocation for parks and open space. The Marshall Fire recovery will have a <br />positive effect on the passing of the ballot proposal. <br />Bee City USA update <br />Our Pollinator Art Contest for Elementary K-5 grades received 25 entries. <br />All of the artists received $5 Sweet Cow gift certificates, courtesy of the <br />Parks Department and contest coordinator Patricia Roberts. Contest <br />entries are on display in the Children's Resource Room at the Louisville <br />Public Library in June and at the Louisville Recreation Center in July. <br />Here are some photos of the artwork: <br />0 <br />
