Board Updates <br />At Community Park, two pines near the playground are dying and need <br />replacement. The Water feature is going full bore, new emitters were <br />installed, and some plumbing revamping still needed. Adam has expertise <br />and has added to capital projects. <br />A Board member requested preservation of milkweed growing near the <br />Bocce courts. <br />Lowe's property needs a cleanup of dead trees that have been abandoned <br />by property owners. Abandoned commercial property is not maintained <br />after the store closes. <br />The mulch giveaway program was a huge success, one -offs are available by <br />request! Call or email the Parks Department. <br />Chris is offering a Tree walk June 101" , highlighting historic trees in our <br />town. <br />Open Space Task Force met for the final time on May 15t". Task Force <br />handed off recommendations to City Council. An opinion poll had 1000 <br />respondents. The pollsters were confident that the poll indicated positive <br />community support.
