INTRODUCTION
This document is a report of the process used in administering a Citizen Attitude Survey in the
City of Louisville, and the results of that survey effort. In an associated document titled, Survey
Frequency Responses and Comments, a detailed listing of the responses to each question is
provided, as are the written comments made by each person responding to this survey. These
two documents give a complete picture of the community response on this survey effort.
This work has been provided to the City of Louisville through a community technical assistance
program jointly managed by Colorado State University's Cooperative Extension and the
Colorado Department of Local Affairs. This program provides technical assistance to
governmental entities across a 14-county area of northern and eastern Colorado. Data entry for
this project was performed by Sarwat Rizwani, a research assistant at CSU. John Willdns-
Wells, a CSU Department of Sociology research associate, helped develop the survey
instrument, sampling methodology, and in large measure is responsible for the report you are
now reading. Thanks are due to Chris Miller, Assistant Manager of the City of Louisville, for
his assistance during this effort.
Questions or comments about this report or the Louisville Community Attitude Survey should
be sent to Tim Katers, Director, CSU Technical Assistance Program, 1505 North Lincoln
Avenue, Suite #4, Loveland, Colorado, (303) 679-4502.
3
