LCity�f Louisville Cultural Council Grant support was prominently showcased during the exhibition and at every event, with eye- catching color signage proudly acknowledging the contributions. Additionally, gratitude for this grant and the City of Louisville's support was conveyed through social media, amplifying the acknowledgment to a wider audience. Shared Stories: Was there an instance in which your organization felt it made a difference, or had a significant impact, on an individual or group of participants? If so, please share any anecdotal evidence by describing the situation, sharing a quote or story below. (Please note that these anecdotes may be shared in marketing the Art Grants or in future arts and cultural reports.) Here are some responses to the question on the survey "Is there anything else you would like to share about your experience with Bubbling Up?" that indicate the impact and difference Bubbling Up has made in the community: • It was a very nice and comforting experience. It helped me realize that my race is not a problem. • Silenced narratives often just become and stay exactly as such — a silenced narrative. Grace's brilliance and heart helped not just me, but evidently so many, many others unearth burdens of their heart. • It was comforting to know people share this experience and I'm not alone. • The authenticity of conversation around bubbling up with the grounding part of my experience today but it was SO powerful to uproot the memory that came up and that I got to get out of my system! • 1 can imagine without this opportunity I might not have ever shared what I shared (and I may actually never have this opportunity again) but today I did and that's all that matters. Thank you, Grace and team. • Thank you!!! You see me!!! • This project is the gentlest, most powerful opening up of conversation about racial trauma I've ever heard of. I'm really grateful to have been invited to participate. 0 This is a very empowering experience. • I've never told those stories to people out outside of my inner circle of friends. • It is so healing to know I am not alone. I don't have these conversations with anybody so I didn't know until I read others' stories that I wasn't alone in my experiences. • Thank you for setting up this experience! Our community needs this. • 1 think this is a great way to share experiences and create a sense of unity and solidarity. There's something so special about seeing that you're not alone and that each person has a unique experience yet somehow they create community. • It's amazing and eye opening to express and digest experiences through a new form of expressing!
