RESOLUTION NO. 10 <br />SERIES 2023 <br />A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING A <br />PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT FOR THE MARINO HOUSE LOCATED <br />AT 829 LINCOLN AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />Marino House, a historic residential structure located at 829 Lincoln, on property legally <br />described as Lots 3 — 5, Block 4, Pleasant Hill Addition, Town of Louisville, City of Louisville, <br />State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found it to <br />be in compliance with Section 3.20.605.D and Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the HPC has held a properly noticed public hearing on the preservation <br />and restoration grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the preservation and restoration work being requested includes making <br />repairs to the existing structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission finds these proposed <br />improvements will assist in the preservation of the Marino House, which is to be landmarked <br />by the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission recommends the City Council <br />approve the proposed Preservation and Restoration Grant application for <br />the Marino House, in the amount of $25,168.50 for work as described in the <br />attached Exhibit A. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16t" day of October, 2023. <br />Lynda Haley, Chairperson <br />
