City(]), CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION <br />Louisville AGENDA ITEM 4D <br />COLORADO • SINCE IS78 <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 77, SERIES NO. 2023 — A <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF ESTES PARK REGARDING <br />THE SHARING OF A LICENSE FOR A PUBLIC WORKS <br />COMPUTERIZED MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SERVICE <br />DATE: DECEMBER 5, 2023 <br />PRESENTED BY: KURT KOWAR, P.E., PUBLIC WORKS & UTILITIES DIRECTOR <br />SUMMARY: <br />Staff recommends approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Estes Park for cost <br />sharing of the Lucity, asset management software license, pro-rata by population and <br />module use. In June 2014, the cities negotiated an agreement with Lucity to allow the <br />communities to buy one software license and split the costs. The cities have <br />implemented Lucity to various degrees and split the ongoing licensing costs since that <br />time. Currently, one license of Lucity with all modules costs $39,359.25 per year. <br />Through the agreement, Louisville's pro-rata share is $31,801.62. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The approved 2024 budget provides for software licensing costs related to Lucity. <br />Vxto] ►VAIJil= I'lm7_r1[07►A <br />Staff recommends City Council approve the intergovernmental agreement with Estes <br />Park, and authorize the Mayor, Public Works Director and City Clerk to sign and <br />execute documents on behalf of the City. <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
