<br />MADONNA RESIGNATION <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Tom Madonna <br />has resigned from the planning commission <br />due to a conflict. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Jerry King <br />has written a letter requesting con- <br />sideration for the opening. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Council <br />accept Tom Madonna's resignation. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. The reappointment will be made <br />by the new Council <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF <br />LAFAYETTE PLANNING COMM. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a resolution presented <br />to the City of Louisville by the <br />Lafayette Planning Commission in re- <br />gards to boundaries. Mr. Wurl re- <br />quested permission to meet with the <br />Lafayette City Manager to try to clear <br />up any misunderstanding between the <br />two cities on boundaries. Council <br />approved Mr. Wurl' s request. <br /> <br />JOLIETTE-SARGEANT <br />LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the United Bank <br />of Broomfield has proposed to Louisville <br />that they will pay up $6,000 of the <br />approximate $8,000 owed the City. <br />They will pay $3,000 immediately and <br />the remainder over a three year period. <br />Mr. Murl stated that he felt this would <br />be the best offer and it would then <br />get the business running again to bring <br />in more revenue to the City. <br />Mr. Wurl requested that Council approve <br />the offer and set a hearing on the <br />liquor license. <br />Council stated there feelings on the <br />matter. After discussion Councilman <br />DiCarlo moved that the City accept the <br />offer of $6,000 made by the United Bank <br />of Broomfield on back taxes of the <br />Three Coins Restaurant. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico <br />no, Berry yes, Dhieux yes, Caranci no, <br />DelPizzo no, DiCarlo yes. Tie vote. <br />Mayor Waschak voted yes to accept the <br />offer. <br />Councilman Berry then moved that a public <br />hearing be scheduled for January 20, 1976 <br />on the Joliette-Sargeant liquor application. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />-7- <br />
