MADONNA RESIGNATION PLANNING COMMISSION Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Tom Madonna has resigned from the planning commission due to a conflict. Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Jerry King has written a letter requesting con- sideration for the opening. Councilman Caranci moved that Council accept Tom Madonna's resignation. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. The reappointment will be made by the new Council Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. RESOLUTION OF LAFAYETTE PLANNING COMM. Mr. Wurl read a resolution presented to the City of Louisville by the Lafayette Planning Commission in re- gards to boundaries. Mr. Wurl re- quested permission to meet with the Lafayette City Manager to try to clear up any misunderstanding between the two cities on boundaries. Council approved Mr. Wurl' s request. JOLIETTE-SARGEANT LIQUOR LICENSE Mr. Wurl stated that the United Bank of Broomfield has proposed to Louisville that they will pay up $6,000 of the approximate $8,000 owed the City. They will pay $3,000 immediately and the remainder over a three year period. Mr. Murl stated that he felt this would be the best offer and it would then get the business running again to bring in more revenue to the City. Mr. Wurl requested that Council approve the offer and set a hearing on the liquor license. Council stated there feelings on the matter. After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City accept the offer of $6,000 made by the United Bank of Broomfield on back taxes of the Three Coins Restaurant. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call. Domenico no, Berry yes, Dhieux yes, Caranci no, DelPizzo no, DiCarlo yes. Tie vote. Mayor Waschak voted yes to accept the offer. Councilman Berry then moved that a public hearing be scheduled for January 20, 1976 on the Joliette-Sargeant liquor application. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. -7-
