POLICE REGULATIONS DETECTIVE SERVICES ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Chief Munger stated that the budget did hold another officer for the 1976 year to fill in while other personel were not available. Council voiced their feelings on the position and felt this title would be more of a promotion type situation. It was pointed out that there would be no pay raise but the job description would be changed. After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that Council approve the two addendums to the Police Regulation and Guidelines pertaining to a Detective position. Seconded by Councilwoman Dhieux. Roll call. Domenico no, Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo no, DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that the City passed a Zoning Ordinance Amendment on first reading as to provide the required HB1041 criteria with which to deal with land annexations,specifically.. with t,he Mizel proposed annexation and the 1041 requirements along with the zoning ordinance. Mr. Wurl stated that timing is of essence on the annexation. as the state requires zoning 90 days after annexation also 1041 designation hearings not less then 30 - and no more then 60 days after designation and you can not designate until after annexation Mr. Drumm stated that the zoning amend- ment might be adopted then the staff revise the adoption should the need arise. howevpr there would be an added expense to make the appropriate changes. Planner Drumm presented the changes of the zoning to Council on the map. Planner Drumm suggested that Council authorize the second publication and work from there. After discussion Councilman Berry moved to publish the Zoning District Map of the City of Louisville and to publish notice of public hearing for the regular meeting of January 20, 1976. Seconded by Coun- cilman Domenico. Motion carried. -6-
