COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS KEITH HELART CALL FOR BIDS Mr. Helart stated that the roofing of the Community Hall is in bad need of repair and would like to have permission to call for bids. He stated that funds would come from service expansion and the cost would be approximately $2,500. Mr. Helart stated that bids would be solicited through the City for Parks & Recreation. After discussion Councilman Berry moved that the City Administrator be authorized to call for bids on the reroofing be Com- munity Hall funds to be taken from the service expansion fees. Seconded by Councilwoman Dhieux. Councilman DelPizzo asked if the reroofing would take place before the replacing of the cupola. Mr. Helart stated that the cupola would be placed afterwards as it would not cause any problems. Roll call was then taken on the motion. Berry yes, Caranci yes, Domenico yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilman DelPizzo questioned the work to be done on the outside of the building Mr. Helart stated that theyare working on plans for regrouting and sealing but have not made any plans. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he would like to see the plans for the outside work before it is decided upon. Mr. Helart stated that he has found a firm which will check the light poles at Miners Field. MINERS PARK LIGHT POLES REFUND TO STEAMWAY TEAM Councilman DiCarlo stated that he felt the $10 rental fee for the use of Miners Field lights should be refunded as there was no charge for the lights during the softball tournament which was held last summer. Mr. Helart stated that he would take care of the matter. POLICE COMMITTEE MEETING Councilman Berry stated that a meeting will be held on November 26, 1975, at 7:30 P.M. for the new Council members to acquaint them with the Committee and procedures. -3-
