WATER LINE PROJECT

Mr. Wurl stated that the project is
about finished.

CITY HALL REMODELING

Mr. Wurl stated that it is mostly
finished.

CONTINENTAL VIEW ESTATES

Mr. Wurl stated that a Mr. Suitts is
planning on purchasing Continental
View Estates, but before he closes on
the property he would like to know if
the City will be willing to serve water
to the area. Mr. Wurl stated that in
the past he was against the possibility
of issuing taps which may not be used
for some time when there were other
developers ready to build now who could
use the taps more. He stated that if
Mr. Suitts was ready to go he felt it
could be considered. Mr. Wurl also
stated that he did not know how the
County would react to his plans for
building. Also it was stated that there
is a pump serving B.S.C.S. alone which
could be utilized by these homes.
There area includes 43 lots but Mr.
Wurl was not sure what the plans were.
Councilman Berry stated that since Mr.
Suitts can not make proposal he suggested
that the City might make a committment
subject to review within a certain amount
of time and if Mr. Suitts can not clear
his plans with the County then the
committment is terminated.
Mr. Conarroe stated that he was against
the City making committments like this
because there have been many contingency
committments made by the City before
and these should be handled first before
taking on another one.
After discussion Councilman Caranci moved
that a letter of intent be sent to Mr.
Suitts stating that the City will furnish
water and sewer services if the land is
purchased by the prospective buyer.
subject to the City's right to designate
street layouts and have approval of the
plans, and approve the types of structures.
Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call.
Domenico no, Berry yes, Caranci yes,
Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo no.
Motion carried 4-2.
Mr. Wurl stated that in the letter to
Mr. Suitts it will state,'that the pro-
perty must be annexed to the City when
contiguous to the City limits.

-7-
