COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS Mayor Waschak stated that Mr. Hershey asked him to congratulate the newly elected Council, incumbents and new members. FLAG FOOTBALL DONATION Mayor Waschak stated that Frank Archuleta the coach for the Steamway Flag Football team, asked him to see if the City would be able to contribute to the teams transportation to Missouri for finals. Council stated that Mr. Archuleta should be asked to contact Parks Department as they may be able to contribute. Councilman Berry stated that the Coal Creek meeting was held but there were only two cities represented so no busi- ness was taken care of; mostly reports were given. He also stated that state funding does not look very promising. Councilwoman Dhieux stated that Mr. Joe Madonna asked that he wanted his position identified, and that he did not want to serve as a lobbist for the City to the County. He asked that a letter be sent identifying his position. Mr. Wurl stated that the City wanted him to act as a laison to the County and State. Councilwoman Dhieux also stated that Westminster and Broomfield are beginning to show interest in the project and she felt that they are waiting for the cities now involved to close the pro- ject so they can try to get it under way for their benefit. COAL CREEK MEETING Councilman Domenico moved that the reports be accepted. Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion carried. AUDIENCE COMMENTS CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT E. & F. INDUSTRIES There were no comments from the audience. Mr. Wurl stated that cisemograph testing devices have been used. He stated that the test tapes will be sent to a firm who will send back a report to the company. A demostration was set for November 15, at 10:00 A.M. at E. & F. Mr. Wurl stated that he is still going to try to be at Mr. Domenicos' home during a blast to see the impact and report back to Council. -6-
