<br />JACOVETTE CORNER <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Engineer White <br />will get an estimated cost as to dropping <br />the corner and reinstalling to correct <br />the drainage problem. <br /> <br />TAX COMMISSION <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City has re- <br />ceived authorization from the State for <br />the increase as requested by Council. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on files. Seconded by Council- <br />man Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />MAYHOFFER SUIT <br /> <br />SALAZAR SUIT <br /> <br />LUC - BOULDER COUNTY SUIT <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #486 <br />1976 BUDGET ADOPTION <br /> <br />Attorney Morris had nothing new to report. <br />Attorney Morris had nothing new to report. <br />Attorney Morris had nothing new to report. <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance #486 on <br />second reading by title only. Council- <br />man Caranci moved that Ordinance #486 <br />be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Berry. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Dolores Forbis stated that she was against <br />such a large budget and felt sooner or <br />later the citizens would be paying the <br />debt as the City should not anticipate <br />all federal funds as they are running <br />out. She stated that she would rather <br />have a gradual mill levy increase instead <br />of being hit at once. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City budget ex- <br />cluding outside revenue is around $500,000 <br />and that the operation of the City is <br />to spends funds which are available and <br />not go out on a limb using anticipated <br />funds. He also stated that the federal <br />monies must be included in the budget <br />because if they do become available and <br />are not budgeted for they will be lost. <br />The public hearing was closed and Council <br />voiced there views on anticipated monies. <br />Action was then taken on the adoption of <br />Ordinance #486. Roll call: Domenico yes, <br />Berry yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />Dhieux yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. <br />
