JACOVETTE CORNER Mr. Wurl stated that Engineer White will get an estimated cost as to dropping the corner and reinstalling to correct the drainage problem. TAX COMMISSION Mr. Wurl stated that the City has re- ceived authorization from the State for the increase as requested by Council. Councilman Caranci moved that the City Administrators report be accepted and placed on files. Seconded by Council- man Domenico. Motion carried. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT MAYHOFFER SUIT SALAZAR SUIT LUC - BOULDER COUNTY SUIT ORDINANCE #486 1976 BUDGET ADOPTION Attorney Morris had nothing new to report. Attorney Morris had nothing new to report. Attorney Morris had nothing new to report. Attorney Morris read Ordinance #486 on second reading by title only. Council- man Caranci moved that Ordinance #486 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Dolores Forbis stated that she was against such a large budget and felt sooner or later the citizens would be paying the debt as the City should not anticipate all federal funds as they are running out. She stated that she would rather have a gradual mill levy increase instead of being hit at once. Mr. Wurl stated that the City budget ex- cluding outside revenue is around $500,000 and that the operation of the City is to spends funds which are available and not go out on a limb using anticipated funds. He also stated that the federal monies must be included in the budget because if they do become available and are not budgeted for they will be lost. The public hearing was closed and Council voiced there views on anticipated monies. Action was then taken on the adoption of Ordinance #486. Roll call: Domenico yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, Dhieux yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. 5.
