<br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 10:24 P.M. with the <br />following Councilmembers present: Domenico, Berry, Caranci, Dhieux, <br />DiCarlo and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City <br />Engineer White, City Treasurer Hesson and Percy Conarroe. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak explained that the meeting was called to consider the <br />appointment of an assistant City Attorney. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated to the Mayor and Council that some necessary work was <br />not being completed by the City Attorney - i.e. letter to the auditors, <br />completion of the contract for the sale of City property. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak staed that he had called the City Attorney's office and <br />instructed the secretary to ask the City Attorney to be present at the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl made two recommendations to the Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />1. Recommend that the Mayor and Council appoint the <br />firm of Rautenstrause & Joss as assisstant City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />2. Recommend that the Mayor and Council meet with 'the <br />City Attorney as soon as possible and straighten <br />the matter out. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that the firm of Rautenstrause & Joss be <br />appointed as assistant City Attorney on a temporary basis with the <br />authority to act on behalf of the Mayor and City Council and City Ad- <br />ministrator. Seconded by Councilwoman Dhieux. All members in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />With no more business, Councilman DiCarlo <br />adjourned. Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:41 P.M. <br /> <br />moved that the meeting be <br />Motion carried. <br />
