HB 1041 - MATTERS OF STATE INTEREST cont'd Mr. Wurl stated to Mr. Shelton that the state is given notice not less then thirty days be- fore the meeting at the present. Mr. Morris stated that he felt all the needed information is sent to the state at that time because it needs to be a completed application which includes all the material. SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS Mr. Drumm pointed out the amendments made in the sections on the subdivision regulations. (See attached Resolution #8 & Subdivision Regulations Amendments) ANNEXATION POLICY RESOLUTION #26, SERIES 1975 Mr. Drumm read Resolution #26, Series 1975 amending Resolution #19, Series 1974. Mr. Drumm stated that the background to the resolution amendment is that the state has indicated that under their new communities guidelines and major extension of water and sewer systems that Louisville should extract these types of information. If Louisville does this, once they have HB 1041 jurisdic- tion which would be after annexation, the City would have already of committed to a devel- opmect. He stated that this is the type of information the City should consider before annexations to determine whether the City wants the annexation or not. He also stated to circumvent the lack of jurisdiction before annexation and the need to have this material prior to annexation, the staff proposed that this be included as an amendment to the annexation policy. Mr. Hobbs stated that he would like to com- pliment the planning staff on the thoroughness of which the study was done. He suggested that with the environmental impact statment required prior to annexation the City might want to specifically include in subsection L Hazard Areas; to name them specifically. With no more comments Councilman Berry moved that the Public Hearing on HB 1041 - Matters of State Interest be continued on September 16, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Coun- cilman DelPizzo. All in favor. Motion carried. PLAN UPDATE Mr. Wurl stated that Planning Commission adopted the plan update amendment at their last meeting. He requested that Council send the update back to the Planning Commission for further consideration. He stated that the basis for this was for the City to have the oppor- tunity to explore further the Citys concern 8.
