Coun- <br />cilman Domenico moved that the plan update be <br />sent back to Planning Commission for further <br />study. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that LURA requested the <br />appointment of Evelun Marshall to replace <br />Mr. John Wing for his term. Councilman <br />Domenico moved that Evelyn Marshall be <br />appointed to the LURA Board to serve out <br />the term of Mr. John Wing. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he would like <br />to commend the fire department for the hard <br />work they did over the Labor Day weekend and <br />also to Fire Chief Elrod for putting the <br />fire department on stand by duty during the <br />weekend. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked that the Police <br />Department watch the high speed traffice <br />during the late hours on Lincoln & Jefferson <br />St. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he has spoken <br />with residents on the east side of the railroad <br />tracks in regards to the opening of Walnut <br />Street. He stated that he spoke with the <br />City Engineer who felt there would be <br />much engineering to get the problem cleared. <br />He requested that Council review the situation <br />and get their feelings on the matter. Coun- <br />cil set a viewing of the situation on September <br />3, 1975, at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he would like Mr. <br />Wurl to speak with Mr. Helart on the donation <br />of two trees of Mrs. Grahams. He stated that <br />they are Blue Spruce and he would like to <br />see the City get them if the cost of moving <br />them is not out of reason. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he would also like <br />to commend the Fire Department and also the <br />Police Department for handling the crowd on <br />the Labor Day weekend. <br /> <br />9. <br />
