<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />AUGUST 5, 1975 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Domenico, Berry, Caranci, Dhieux, DelPizzo and DiCarlo. <br />Others Present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Morris, City Engineer <br />White, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Santilli. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes <br />as read. <br /> <br />WOOD BROTHERS P.U.D. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />TRACT B & C <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that representatives from Wood <br />Brothers were in attendance to present their <br />preliminary plat for tracts B & C. <br />Mr. Holly for Wood Brothers informed the Council <br />as to the plans for the tract development. <br />He stated that the homes would be what is called <br />Patio Homes. They will be detached and have base <br />prices beginning around $20,000. Mr. Holly then <br />introduced Mr. Donald Rourke the architect for <br />the development. He explained the type of housing <br />that would be built stating that the homes would <br />be placed at an angle giving an attached effect <br />when looking down a street. Mr. Rourke stated <br />that the easements run down the back of the homes <br />instead of on the side. <br />Councilman Berry asked about the intersections <br />since they were not 900. City Engineer White <br />stated that in the tract being talked about, <br />perpendicular intersections would not work. Mr. <br />Rourke stated that there were special radius to <br />accomodate the intersection. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if the homes would all <br />be of the same size and design. Mr. Rourke <br />stated that there will be one, two, and three <br />bedroom homes, also they are one level and two level. <br />Mr. Rourke also stated that town houses, etc. are <br />sitting vacant in many cities and Wood Brothers <br />felt single family detached units would benefit <br />the City. Mr. Rourke also stated that the lots <br />would be approximately 50' x 80'. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated that when this plan <br />was brought to Planning Commission one point <br />of interest was the fact that density was lower. <br />also that the models are varied. She stated <br />that this plan is a first for Wood Brothers. <br />Mr. Rourke stated that all fences will be installed <br />with the building of the houses. Mr. Rourke <br />stated that square footage will be between <br />1,000 sq. ft. and 3,000 sq. ft. <br />Mr. Wurl read the memo from the staff in regards <br />to recommendations to Council on the request of <br />Wood Brothers. <br />
