<br />COUNCIL COMMENTS cont'd <br />WEEDS ALONG GOODHUE DITCH <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked who was responsible <br />for the weeds on both sides of the Goodhue Ditch. <br />Mr. Wurl sated that the City was to cut the weeds. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked who was responsible <br />for the fence along the sidewalk where the <br />ditch goes under it. Mr. Wurl stated that he would <br />check with Wood Brothers on the fence. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if the electric wires <br />that were sticking up in Memory Square Park were <br />corrected. Mr. Wurl stated that he would check <br />with Mr. McNulty on them. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the Council comments <br />and committee reports be accepted. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Howard Pollack asked that if a budget is <br />submitted and approved if the department is <br />allowed to spend all that money. Mr. Wurl stated <br />that it depends on how the revenue comes into <br />the City as to whether you will receive the <br />complete budget or not. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />before anything is purchased there should be a <br />requisition placed and turned over to the finance <br />department for verification of funds. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />WATER LINE REPORT <br />RESOLUTION #18 <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the Community <br />Development director had to clear with HUD the <br />award of bid to the second bidder and also with <br />funds for 1975 and the LURA funds from last year. <br />The Community Development director did get approval <br />from HUD. <br />Mr. Wurl then read Resolution #18 awarding the <br />pipe line contract to American Pipeline Co. <br />Councilman Berry moved that Resolution #18 <br />be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Mr. Wurl stated to Council that the first bidder <br />had bid'onplastic pipe and there were several <br />conflicts in the bid. <br />The low bidder in cast iron pipe was American <br />Pipeline Co. <br />Domenico yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux <br />yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Moton carried. <br /> <br />LURA PERSONNEL <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the City has in- <br />corporated the secretary into the City. <br />Mr. Jerry McDonald and staff understood that the <br />anniversary dates of the LURA employees would <br />stay the same and be transferred to the City. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
