<br />-3- <br /> <br />HB 1041 PUBLIC HEARING <br />CONTINUATION FROM <br />JULY 25, 1975 cont'd <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl introduced Mr. Chuck Hilsted who works <br />with Mr. Houlehan. <br />After the presentation it was suggested that <br />within thirty days of closing of the public <br />hearing the City would have to then designate <br />within thirty days. It was the recommendation <br />of Mr. Hilsted and the City staff that the <br />public hearing be continued on August 19, 1975. <br />After discussion Councilman Domenico moved that <br />the public hearing on HB 1041 designating matters <br />of state interest be continued on August 19, 1975. <br />Seconded by Councilwoman Dhieux. Roll call. <br />Domenico yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, Dhieux <br />yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />DUTCH ELM DISEASE <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak asked what Councils desire was on <br />this matter. Council felt that something <br />should be done soon with the infected trees. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that before anything is decided <br />on in regards to a resolution he asked Council <br />to wait until he has discussed the matter with <br />the City Attorney. Mr. Wurl stated that the <br />City would be taking care of their trees and <br />letter could be sent to property owners who <br />have infected trees, but he requested that no <br />decision be made until he has checked with Mr. <br />Morris in regards to an Ordinance. <br />Council agreed with the request of Mr. Wurl. <br /> <br />With no other business Councilman Domenico <br />moved that the meeting be adjourned until <br />the regular meeting of August 5. 1975. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motton <br />carried. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />
