<br />-6- <br /> <br />CONSORTIUM REPORT cont'd <br /> <br />for Louisville would be up for public hearing. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated that the Boulder <br />Camera map of the County Plan and she stated <br />that it did not reflect the longmont Plan. <br />She asked that someone try to be in attendance <br />when the Louisville plan is up for public hearing. <br />Also, she asked that the City update plan be <br />on the agenda for the next Consortium meeting <br />which they agreed. The meeting will be held <br />August 13, 1975. <br /> <br />MOSQUITOE SPRAYING <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci asked Mr. Wurl to check with <br />Lafayette and Broomfield to see if they were <br />spraying, as people in those areas stated that <br />the City was spraying. Mr. Wurl said that he <br />would check. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the reports be <br />accepted and placed on file. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />Steve Anderson spoke in regards to the Inter- <br />action Meeting where the Fire Department <br />questioned the fact of safety in high apart- <br />ment complexes. Suggestions were made during <br />the meeting of having the Fire Department <br />check the plans for future complexes and con- <br />sider their recommendations in regards to <br />safety. <br />Mr. Anderson stated that in the case of en- <br />cephalitis the woman who has it is seriously <br />ill. He stated that it has been a very bad <br />financial burden and he asked the Council to <br />call him if they had any suggestions on how <br />to help the family out. <br /> <br />Mrs. McDonald asked if there was anything the <br />citizens could do in spraying for mosquitoes. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that you could buy bug spray <br />but that was about all. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe complimented Councilwoman Dhieux <br />on her representing the City at the Consortium <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe asked if anything was said about <br />the appointment to the long Range Planning <br />Commission. Mr. Wurl stated that Mrs. Dilorenzo <br />has written her letter showing interest and also <br />the City has notified the Commission of their <br />support for Mrs. Dilorenzo. <br /> <br />Mr. Conarroe asked if the City could do anything <br />
