-7-

AUDIENCE COMMENTS cont'd

to help out the watering problem at Centaurus
which is being caused by the water shortage
in Lafayette because the sod is drying up and
it will be an added expense if new sod must be
layed.

Mr. Conarroe asked if the church site land in
Parkwood subdivision has ever been donated to
the City. Mr. Wurl stated that it had not been
and hopes that the matter will be settled at
the August 5, 1975 meeting.

Mr. Conarroe asked if there was any disposition
on the Campbell case. This will be discussed
during the Attorney report.

Mr. Conarroe stated that he felt the City Coun-
cil minutes were not thorough and that more
important information should be included for
future record. Mr. Wurl stated that copies
of contracts could be added to the minutes in
cases of agreements.

Mr. Conarroe asked if there was going to be
a presentation at the DRCOG meeting on the
Mizel annexation proposal. Mr. Wurl stated
that he spoke with Mr. Farley and they will
set up another meeting for the presentation
in September.

Mr. Conarroe stated that since the two Council
meetings were held one week apart, the Ord-
inance #473 would have to be acted upon at
the August 5, 1975 meeting in order to get a
second publication on it.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT

Mr. Anderson informed Council that the Cen-
tennial BiCentennial Committee will be holding
an ice cream social on July 27, 1975 to help
raise money for the Miner statue. He invited
everyone to attend and have a good time.
He also stated that at this time the City will
receive their BiCentennial flag.

Mr. Wurl reviewed the correspondence and enclo-
surers.

VIA APPIA ESCROW
WOOD BROTHERS

Mr. Wurl informed Council that a while back the
City did not want Wood Brothers to pave Via
Appia Drive because of the lack of use at that
time. He stated that a tentative agreement was
made that Wood Brothers give the City the needed
amount to pave the drive and the City would then
put it in escrow until the work was started.
