Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mrs. Mary DiLorenzo asked if there was <br />any way signs could be put up not allow- <br />ing dogs in the park at any time on a <br />leash or other wise. Councilwoman <br />Dhieux stated that she felt it should <br />be discussed with the Police department. <br />No action was taken. <br /> <br />BLOCKING OF STREET <br />CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION <br /> <br />Mrs. DiLorenzo informed Council that <br />the festival committee would like to <br />hold an ice cream social at Memory <br />Square Park on July 27, 1975, at <br />which time a street dance would be held. <br />She requested permission to have the <br />portion of Spruce St. between Jefferson <br />and Grant blocked off during the <br />celebration which would start in the <br />afternoon. After discussion Councilman <br />Caranci moved that permission be granted <br />to the committee to block off Spruce St. <br />between Jefferson and Grant on July <br />27, 1975. Seconded by Councilman <br />Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. DiLorenzo asked Council if there <br />would be a possibility of getting passes <br />for the Post III Drum and Bugle Corp. <br />It was suggested that she ask the Parks <br />Board, however Council stated that it <br />was brought up before that no free passes <br />be issued. Mrs. Di Lorenzo will check <br />with the Parks Board. <br /> <br />MR. FLEMING REGARDING <br />FIRE HALL <br /> <br />Mr. Fleming stated that there were rumors <br />going around that his construction company <br />refuses to do the black topping behind <br />the new fire hall and also that the cement <br />was faulty. Mr. Fleming stated that <br />Mr. White had a written report okaying <br />the cement work. Mr. Wurl stated to Mr. <br />Fleming that earlier a report on the <br />asphalting was requested and that in a <br />part of the report it stated that the <br />money in Mr. Flemings contract was held <br />by the City and there was remarks made <br />within Council that Mr. Fleming was paid <br />but had not done the work. <br />
