Mayor <br />Waschak stated that Sproul has not <br />approached the Council. Mr. Wurl then <br />stated that he has had brief meetings <br />with Sproul on development, but nothing <br />final has been decided on annexing or <br />otherwise. <br /> <br />Mr. Hershey asked what type of progress <br />there was on sending news letters out <br />with water bills. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />there are no envelopes any more to put <br />that type of information in as the bills <br />are on cards. Mr. Conarroe stated that <br />he felt the matter should be looked into <br />carefully as he receives all types of <br />letters from government officials, etc. <br />and the information becomes one sided. <br />Council stated their feelings on news <br />letters. No action was taken. <br /> <br />Mr. Hershey asked when the sign would <br />be put up at City Hall. Mr. Wurl stated <br />that it would be put up before the next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence received. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Billy Jones of HUD <br />would like to make a presentation to <br />Council. Mr. Lundberg stated that at <br />that time LURA would like to have a work <br />session about Community Development <br />program. A work session was scheduled <br />on June 10, 1975, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that Mr. Chenoweth had <br />drafted a letter requesting H.U.D. for <br />a time extension to continue the Neighbor- <br />hood Development Program. Mr. Wurl read <br />the letter and stated that it needed <br />Councils approval for the Mayor to sign it. <br />After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br />that the Mayor be authorized to sign the <br />LURA letter. Seconded by Councilwoman <br />Dhieux. Motion carried. <br />
