<br />-4- <br /> <br />CITY HALL HOURS <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that City Clerk <br />Santilli would like Councils approval to <br />close City Hall during Saturday mornings <br />as there was not enough people taking ad- <br />vantage of it. Council stated their <br />feelings towards the matter and stated that <br />since it was attempted on a trial basis <br />by the City Clerk that it should be up to <br />her as to whether or not it should be closed <br />however, they requested that advance <br />notice be published in the paper and <br />that a door slot be put in for payments <br />after hours. <br /> <br />FIREWORKS ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that each year the Police <br />have a problem regarding fireworks. He <br />asked that Council decide whether or not <br />they wish to have the purchase of fire- <br />works within the City or cut them out <br />completely. After discussion Council- <br />man DelPizzo moved that Ordinance #353 <br />be amended to abide with the State Fire- <br />works Ordinance and also allow the sale <br />of fireworks within the City limits, <br />providing the amendment is necessary. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. <br />Roll call on motion. Caranci no, Berry <br />yes, Dhieux no, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br />Attorney Morris reviewed the City Ord- <br />inance and stated that the amendment is <br />not necessary, therefore the motion is <br />void. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL CODE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl asked if Council wanted to re- <br />view the Personnel Code or not. He <br />stated that he would get all the in- <br />formation necessary and have a work session <br />at that time. It was agreed with Council. <br />to review the code. <br /> <br />INTERACTION COMMITTEE <br /> <br />At . <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read a letter from Steve Anderson <br />requesting that a representative be <br />appointed to serve on the Interaction <br />Committee. Mr. Anderson stated that other <br />committee heads have stated their interest. <br />Mayor Waschak appointed Lawrence Caranci <br />to serve on the board from Council. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted. . Se- <br />conded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br />
