<br />PROPOSED AGREEMENT WITH <br />FAJU~RS RESERVOIR & <br />IRRIGATION COMPANY <br /> <br />ACQUISTION OF WATER RIGHTS <br /> <br />JOE MADONNA RESIGNATION <br />REPRESENTATIVE COAL CREEK <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney report be accepted. Seconded <br />by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City Water <br />Attorney presented him with a proposed <br />agreement with the Farmers Reservoir <br />and Irrigation Company. Mr. Wurl read <br />the agreement and asked that Council <br />give the Mayor approval to sign the agree- <br />ment. Mr. Wurl stated that the agree- <br />ment has not yet been reviewed by the <br />FR&I Co. He stated that the contents <br />of the agreement is based on verbal dis- <br />cussions the attorneys have had with the <br />Co. Mr. Wurl stated that it was designed <br />basic to protect the farmers. After <br />discussion Councilman Caranci moved that <br />the Mayor be authorized to sign the <br />agreement between the City of Louisville <br />and F R & I Co. Seconded by Councilwoman <br />Dhieux. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl requested that Council moved into <br />an executive session to discuss the <br />matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he received <br />a phone call from Joe Madonna stating <br />that he was resigning as the City <br />representative on the Coal Creek project. <br />Council stated that they could not <br />accept the resignation until it was pre- <br />sented to them in writing. Mayor Waschak <br />stated that he would notify Mr. Madonna <br />in regards to this. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that the regular <br />meeting be adjourned into an executive <br />session. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Motion carried. <br />
