CITY ATTORNEY REPORT MAYHOFFER REPORT SALAZAR LAW SUIT ORDINANCE #460 2ND READING WATER FEE INCREASE ORDINANCE 1ft462 BICYCLE LICENSING -5- Attorney Morris reported that there will be an agreement before the next meeting. Attorney Morris replied that a letter of intent was never received which was to be done to file for suit. The matter has been turned over to the City insurance company. Mayor Waschak opened the Public Hearing in regards to water fee increase. Mrs. Mary Shipton, Mrs. Barbara McDonald, Jerry McDonald, Walt Leggett and Paul Boyce stated their objections to the increase. There were no people in favor of the increase. Mrs v~Linda_Garrett and Percy Conarroe also stated their objections. Mayor Waschak then returned to Council for discussion after closing the Public Hearing. Council stated their feelings in regards to the increase. After discussion Councilman Domenico moved to defeat Ordinance #460. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry no, Scholl no, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried defeating Ordinance #460. Councilman DiCarlo moved that an adjourned meeting be held Wednesday, February 19, 1975, to reaccess the possibilities of finding monies elsewhere. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. It will be held at 7:00 P.M. Attorney Morris read Ordinance #462 in regards to bicycle licensing. After discussion Councilwoman Scholl moved to amend the Ordinance deleating sec- tion 3l-A-17 part B. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Roll call on amendment. Berry yes, Scholl yes, Domenico no, Dhieux no, DelPizzo no, DiCarlo no. Motion defeated. Councilman DiCarlo then moved that Ordinance #462 be ordered published. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call on motion. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Dhieux yes, Scholl yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried.
