<br />FIRE DEPT. REQUEST <br />AND CITY HALL CASH REGISTER <br /> <br />CASH REGISTER <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br />Ken Buffo, Fire Chief, and several <br />members of the Louisville Fire Dept. <br />were present to request authorization <br />to pruchase a new ambulance. Chris <br />Schmidt gave the Council information <br />regarding the requested ambulance and <br />answered questions. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that lease bids from <br />Heck Motors had been taken. The am- <br />bulance costing $15,500.00 on a 36 <br />month lease would run $542.96 per month. <br />On a 24 month lease $764.43 per month. <br />After discussion Councilman DelPizzo <br />moved that Council authorize the Fire <br />Dept. to purchase the ambulance. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll <br />call. Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo <br />yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Berry moved that the 36 <br />month lease be accepted. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Berry <br />yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl informed Council that the cash <br />register for City Hall in the amount <br />of $2,000.00 would be $95.56 per month <br />for 24 months., or $67.88 per month <br />for 24 months. Councilman DelPizzo <br />moved that Council allow the purchase <br />of the cash register. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Berry <br />yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. Councilman Berry <br />moved that the cash register be pur- <br />chased on the 36 month basis. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll Berry yes, <br />Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mrs. Shipton extended her appreciation <br />to the City Council for a letter written <br />to the Post Master General, and Floyd <br />Haskell in regards to postal service in <br />the Parkwood area. <br />She Shipton stated that the street lights <br />on Short St. and Lafayette St. were not <br />operating all the time. She also asked <br />when the street signs would be installed <br />in the subdivision. Mr. Wurl stated that <br />he would contact Public Service about <br />the street lights, and that Wood Bros. <br />would be installing the street signs soon. <br />
