FIRE DEPT. REQUEST AND CITY HALL CASH REGISTER CASH REGISTER AUDIENCE COMMENTS -3- Ken Buffo, Fire Chief, and several members of the Louisville Fire Dept. were present to request authorization to pruchase a new ambulance. Chris Schmidt gave the Council information regarding the requested ambulance and answered questions. Mr. Wurl reported that lease bids from Heck Motors had been taken. The am- bulance costing $15,500.00 on a 36 month lease would run $542.96 per month. On a 24 month lease $764.43 per month. After discussion Councilman DelPizzo moved that Council authorize the Fire Dept. to purchase the ambulance. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilman Berry moved that the 36 month lease be accepted. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl informed Council that the cash register for City Hall in the amount of $2,000.00 would be $95.56 per month for 24 months., or $67.88 per month for 24 months. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Council allow the purchase of the cash register. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll call. Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilman Berry moved that the cash register be pur- chased on the 36 month basis. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll Berry yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mrs. Shipton extended her appreciation to the City Council for a letter written to the Post Master General, and Floyd Haskell in regards to postal service in the Parkwood area. She Shipton stated that the street lights on Short St. and Lafayette St. were not operating all the time. She also asked when the street signs would be installed in the subdivision. Mr. Wurl stated that he would contact Public Service about the street lights, and that Wood Bros. would be installing the street signs soon.
