COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS CITIZEN COMMENTS CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT H. U. D. BILLS CROSS PAN -2- Councilman DelPizzo asked if there was water still in the swimming pool. Mr. White stated that this was the method for winterizing pools. Councilman DiCarlo brought up the matter in regards to the formation of another football team through Parks & Rec. It was decided that a memo would be written to the Board stating that they will not be able to go over there budget. Mr. Conarroe stated that he was confused as to the Police Commission. He felt that the ~rpose of the Commission should be identified and what they can or cannot do. He felt that if the Commission is to be used as a sounding board then the issue should be reported back to City Council for a decision. Mayor Waschak stated that he is planning a meeting with the Police Chief and Commission to get guidelines set up. Councilman..Berry stated that he was going to get together with Mr. Morris and Mr. Wurl and get the purpose and guidelines straightened out and will report back to Council. Administrator Wurl reviewed the corres- pondence enclosed. Mr. Wurlread a memo from L.H.A. requesting a time extension on the neighborhood development program. After discussion Councilman Berry moved that the Mayor be authorized to sign the letter re- questing for the time extension for Urban Renewal. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl informed Council that the for bills which were held up due to lack of purchase orders have been taken care of. Councilwoman Scholl moved that checks be sent to the four companies. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. Domenico yes, Berry yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl requested that the discussion on the matter be tabled until it has been reviewed by each Council member.
