<br />LURA LETTER <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the June 10, 1974, letter <br />of intent requesting from the City to <br />fund money to LHA comparab Ie to"dthe <br />costs of water lines replacement to be <br />undertaken by LURA in 1974 and 1975. <br />A work session will be scheduled for <br />July with LP~, LURA, and City Council <br />to discuss the matter. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE 11 445 <br />WATER METERS <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance 11445 <br />pertaining to Water Meters. Councilman <br />Berry moved the Ordinance 11445 be ordered <br />published. Seconded by Councilwoman <br />Scholl. Mr. Hershey stated that he felt <br />there should be some type of wording <br />that if both parents should pass away and <br />there are small children involved there <br />should be some type of exclusion due to <br />the money situation to support the <br />children. After discussion roll call <br />was taken. Domenico yes, Berry yes, <br />Scholl yes, Dhieux yes, DelPizzo no, <br />DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #446 <br />WATER TAP FEE <br /> <br />Attorney Morris read Ordinance 11446. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance <br />11446 be ordered published. Seconded by <br />Councilwoman Scholl. Mr. Lundberg <br />asked if provisions could be made in an <br />Ordinance that could provide exceptions <br />in line with City priorities. Attorney <br />Morris stated that the Ordinance could <br />be amended or a new Ordinance drawn up, <br />this being at Councils discretion. <br /> <br />Mr. William Ross representing Louisville <br />North and Mr. George Holley representing <br />Wood Brothers Homes, Inc. stated their <br />objections to such a high increase on <br />the sewer and water taps. They felt the <br />companies would not be able to stay <br />on the market at a competable level. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the tap fees were <br />raised because of the need for future <br />facilities to supply services to the <br />developments. After Councils discussion <br />roll call was held on the publication <br />of Ordinance 11446. Domenico no, Berry <br />yes, Scholl yes, Dhieux no, DelPizzo no, <br />DiCarlo no. Motion defeated. <br /> <br />5.. <br />
