<br />Councilwoman Dhieux asked if there would be any problems within <br />the corporation if - wells were sunk to water the golf <br />course. Mr. Hollenbeck stated that he did not think that there <br />would be any objection. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Dhieux asked if there would be any objection if <br />the Crown Mine was used for the purpose of the well area for <br />the folf course. A Sproul representative stated that they had <br />sought that as a possibility for irrigation. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Dhieux stated thatpeople had remarked to her that <br />Sproul did not own the water in Harper Lake. She stated that <br />the party also said that when development begins the water will <br />disappear. Sproul representative stated that presently the <br />lake is being filled by the land owners, this water will be <br />used to irrigate the property. Sproul owns water rights that <br />are going into Harper Lake. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked if water starts being pumped from the <br />mines what happens if some of the houses start settling. <br />Sproul representative stated that he was familaiar with the <br />letter that a geologist, Pat Rogers wrote. He stated that his <br />staff has spent time going over the geological studies that they <br />had made on the Sproul property and they have an honest difference <br />of opinion. The Sproul representative stated that the State <br />Geological Survey has no engineers on their staff, State <br />Geological Survey is requred under law to make a decision. AS <br />the letter stated they have not done any study or research in <br />this field. The Sproul representative stated that in this land <br />they put in about 8 test holes which went all the way through <br />to the mine openings. <br />
