They had previously paid <br />for two sewer taps and now request <br />that one of the fees be refunded. <br />Council needed to approve the <br />refund in the amount of $505.00. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the <br />refund be anproved. Seconded by Council- <br />man Berry. After discussion Council- <br />man DiCarlo withdrew his motion and <br />asked for an investigation to see if <br />there is any possibility that the home <br />could be sold and made again into a <br />two family dwelling by the new owner. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux askp-n if two sewer <br />taps meant two line were put in. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that on multi-family <br />dwellirgs, each unit must pay the sewer <br />tap fee. <br /> <br />BAPTIST CHURCH REPORT <br /> <br />The material in the Councils folders <br />in reference to the Baptist Church <br />restoration was an updating of the <br />previous reports. Mr. Reindl had <br />written a letter to the building in- <br />spector stating that he could not meet <br />the earlier schedule due to illness <br />and bad weather. Mr. Reindl felt the <br />building could be finished in June, 1974. <br />They have proper permits to do the work <br />and has submitted an outline of what <br />was to be done. Councilman DiCarlo <br />asked if a permit was good for only <br />120 days. Mr. Wurl stated that you <br />could not stop work for a period of <br />120 days. Councilman DiCarlo asked <br />if there was any penalty for stopping <br />work for this length of time. Mr. <br />Wurl stated that the party would have <br />to purchase a new building permit. <br />Councilwoman Dhieux recommended that <br />the Building Inspector check this <br />project out and give reports to the <br />Council periodically. Councilman <br />DiCarlo asked if only the Health and <br />Fire Department could condemn property. <br />Mr. Morris stated that if the building <br />does not conform with the code the <br />building can be tagged as inhabitable <br />until the repairs are made. The Building <br />Inspector is to talk to Mr. Reindl and <br />give him a completion date of June, 1974. <br /> <br />5. <br />
