DINNER MEETINC cont'd

FIREMEN'S CHRISTMAS TREATS

HOME INSPECTIONS

AUDIENCE COt~ENTS
CITIZENS ADVISORY COI1MITTEE

VARIANCE BOARD

AMERICAN LEGION

-3-

of County Commissioners. The dinner will
be on January 31, at 6:30 P.M. at the
Boulder Country Club.

Councilman DelPizzo reported that the
Firemen spent $468.00 for candy at $.60
a bag for the children. They felt that
there was a poor turn out and also that
they had a hard time getting donations.

Councilman DelPizzo asked about the
specifications of heating for the homes
now being built, because he did not think
that the furnaces he saw in one of the
houses was adequate for the size of
the home. City Administrator Wurl is
going to check with the Building Inspector
on this and also ask him to attend the
Council meeting for discussion of the
problem.

Mrs. Forbis asked that the following be
approved for the Citizens Advisory
Committee: Joseph Ferarese, Henry Garcia,
and Richard Franchini. Councilwoman
Scholl moved that they be approved.
Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried.

Hr. Robert Ross stated that two variances
were granted on January 3, 1974, which were
carried over from 1973. One was to
Exquisite Enterprises and the other to
the Apostolic Church. There was another
grant around April. The pary did not ful-
fill his obligation as from the outside
view. Also, Mr. Ross thought there was more
then one family living there. He asked
that this be checked into. The man who
was granted the variance had gone past
his allocation of six months. A question
was brought up in regards to an ordinance
stating only one family per family unit.
Mr~ Wurl was going to check about the
ordinance.

Mr. Ross representing the American Legion
reported that with the approval of the
City Council the location of the Fall
Festival celebration be moved to the
downtown area at Front and Spruce streets.
The parade would be rerouted from north
to south disbanding at County Road and
Front Street. The reason for the move
is because of the new fire station. If
there was an emergency the::-e would be
too much congestion for the unit to move.
