<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />l,OUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />OCTOBER 16, 1973 <br /> <br />Councilman Jensen expressed his approval of the <br />raise in salaries - stating more individuals <br />would be inspired to run for office and it <br />would help take care of some traveling expense. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Scholl also expressed her approval <br />of the Ordinance - stating additional pay would <br />enable elected officials to attend seminars, go <br />to various other corrnnunities and exchange ideas <br />and then come back to Council with information. <br /> <br />After discussion and Council corrnnents, Mayor <br />Pro-tem King called for question - roll call <br />Deborski no, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, Scholl <br />yes, King yes, Domenico no. Motion carried. <br />Ordinance #429 has been adopted. <br /> <br />SIROKMAN ALLEY <br /> <br />Mrs. Mildred Sirokman requested that since the <br />~dincmce for the alley vacation was defeated <br />Mrs. Michel be advised that it is a public thoro- <br />fare and everyone be able to use the alley to <br />drive or walk -through. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Councilman Jensen moved for adjournment with a <br />work session, Thursday evening, October 18th at <br />7:00 P.M.
