<br />R"RGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JULY 3, 1973 <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />AJAX <br /> <br />CAP CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICE <br /> <br />MC CASLIN BLVD. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl explained to Council as of July <br />1, 1973 crisis on asphalt people. Was not opposed to <br />developing the plan - we could do it if we had the money <br />or any other route to pursue. However, under the circum- <br />stances didn't think we could afford to it differently. <br />Roll call vote - Deborski yes, Jensen No, Donovan No, <br />Scholl yes, Domenico No. Motion defeated. <br />Councilman Donovan moved that City Administrator Wurl <br />proceed with the program and include $500 for soil tests. <br />Seconded by Councilman Jensen. Roll call vote-Domenico <br />Yes, Scholl no, Donovan yes, Jensen yes, Deborski no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski stated the fire hydrant is leaking <br />on 900 Jefferson. Also discussed with the Fire Department <br />about burning weeds in dangerous areas. Councilman <br />Deborski moved that City Administrator Wurl obtain <br />permission from the County to burn weeds especially <br />along the railroad tracks. Seconded by Councilman Domenico <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Donovan reported that 211 loads of junk <br />had been hauled to the dump along with the clean-up <br />campaign. <br />Councilman Donovan moved that Junk Ordinance be enforced <br />by the Police Department. Seconded by Councilman Jensen. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. Motion reworded to read <br />Police Department to enforce Junk Ordinance as written, <br />give 60 days to take action for those on list, 30 days <br />for those who have done nothing at all. <br />Councilwomrol Scholl reported weeds at Hiway 42 and <br />South Bouldl~r Road - more specifically Rolando's <br />corner - City Administrator Wurl to handle. <br /> <br />Work yet to be done before advertise for final payment <br />includes grading of street cut at South Boulder Road, <br />pins for the water meters at the Filter Plant, fire <br />hydrant at the Elementary School has the wrong threads. <br />Ajax in the process of correcting these. <br /> <br />Final payment will be advertised when some addtional <br />grading has been done, and parts for altitude valve <br />at the Filter Plant are installed. <br /> <br />Letter states no plastic pipe has been used in <br />Louisville. <br /> <br />Boulder County has stricken McCaslin Blvd. from all their <br />records. vJe can still take a stand. Mayor Protem King <br />stated we should continue from South Boulder Road to <br />Arapahoe. Councilman Deborski moved that a letter be <br />written to the Boulder County Commissioners expressing <br />our need for Md Caslin Blvd. to Arapahoe. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico.
