Seconded bv Councilman Deborski. Roll call
vote - Deborski yes~ King yes, Donovan yes, Scholl yes.
Motion carried.

F. Van Buskirk - Study Session set for August 13th
G. Park Dedication- Set for September 1st, 1973.

COUNCIL COMMENTS:

Mayor Caranci asked about the status of the trash ac-
cross the tracks. Mr. Wurl stated he received appro-
val from the County to take the trash over to our land
and dump it. Cars will be hauled off. Councilman
King moved that all trash be removed by August 24th.
Seconded by Councilman Deborski. All in favor. Motion
carried.

Councilman Deborski made a recommendation that bath-
rooms be installed at the parks. Bathroom facilities
will be available as soon as swimming pool is finished.
Talked to Seevers about it and he was going to investi-
gate the idea of using San-o-let during the summer
months.

Councilman Donovan inquired what could be done about
the signs on the Carpet Shop. Mr. Wurl to take care
of it.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR

A. Railroad Signal Re~ort. Met with Public Utili-
ties Commission and Rallroad representatives and dis-
cussed the signal. It was suggested that we re-eval-
uate the whole matter and come up with the estimate
as to the possibility of closing Griffith St. and open-
ing Lafayette St. We would consider this proposition.
Would say Lafayette is a wider street and not a dead
end, ties onto a major thoroughfare in that part of
town. Lafayette St. would become a thru street; will
have to fill in the east side. They would rather we
forget about crossings except South Boulder and Pine
St.

Page - 2 -
