<br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Loui.svi.11e City Council <br /> <br />February 6, 1973 <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order by Mayor Caranci at 7:30 p.m. with Councilmen Ed Deborski, <br />Chuck King, Virg Donovan, Patricia SCl1011, Frank Domenico, Attorney Paul Morris, and <br />City Administrator Leon Wurl. Has complained for the last five or six years. <br /> <br />Councilman Ed Deborski stated that we are not happy with the conditions <br />of the streets and alleys and are trying our best economic factors that <br />we have to deal with, which prohibits us from solving all these problems. <br /> <br />Councilman Donovan suggested we should set something up for March 15th. <br />Stated he had contacted JC's and they will help; also suggested all <br />other &lubs be contacted regarding the spring cleanup. <br /> <br />April 14th and 21st were established as dates for cleanup. Councilman <br />Deborski suggested trucks be used on a volunteer basis and City pay <br />dump fees. Mayor Caranci appointed Councilmen Donovan, Scholl and <br />Domenico to supervise the program. <br /> <br />Mr. Ted Manzanares submitted his request for Council's consideration. <br />He also submitted a proper application and letters of reference. <br />Councilman King moved that the findings of the City Council are that <br />the needs of the community are not being met and the license applica- <br />tion be approved. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Roll call vote <br />all in favor. Meltion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl received a letter from Ken Bruns & Associates; <br />approved the reduced retainage in the amount of $1,000 - payment re- <br />quested $9,642.44~. Councilman King moved to authorize payment of <br />$9,642.44 to CAP Conatnuction. Seconded by Councilman Donovan. All <br />in favor. Motio'n carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl reported the County Planning and Zoning is re- <br />questing that a formal contract be submitted between the City and Con- <br />tinental View Estates as relates to serving of utilities. The contract <br />should reflect a November 1, 1973 date as the determing factor will <br />be the completion of the wastewater plant expansion program. Councilman <br />King moved that a contract with Continental View Estates be drafted. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci s1tated - before you decide to second the motion - we <br />have spent $45,000.00 for a pumping station and this is the only way <br />we can realize 1noney to pay for it. <br />
