<br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />CEMETERY <br /> <br />'lOUSE ON <br />JRIFFITH ST. <br /> <br />CITIZENS <br />ADVISORY <br />BOARD <br /> <br />CITY ADMINIS- <br />TRATOR'S <br />REPORT <br /> <br />l.ouisville City Council <br /> <br />February 6, 1973 <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl informed Council that 43 taps are being re- <br />quested. <br /> <br />Councilman Deborski seconded motion. Roll call vote all in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Scholl informed Council the Cemetery Committee would like <br />to hire AnrlY Ackerma,n wi th Council's approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci stated the man that works at the Cemetery can also work <br />in the City. Have Mr. Ackerman contact Fred McNulty as all outside <br />work crews work undE~r Hr. McNul ty . <br /> <br />The Cemetery Committee requested steets be red-ashed, trees trimmed, <br />and barbed wire fence replaced with chain link. They also requested <br />that all flowers be placed in a stationary urn. Notice to this effect <br />to be placed in Louisville Times. City Administrator Wurl to discuss <br />new fence with Aquarius. <br /> <br />The bookkeeping system relating to the Cemetery was discussed and is <br />to be organized i~lediately. City Attorney Morris and City Engineer <br />White to establish and update records after which they are to be kept <br />at City Hall. <br /> <br />Councilman Donovan inquired as to the status of the house on Griffith <br />St. that is still '~p on blocks. Administrator Wurl sent the Builiing <br />Inspector up there but no report. <br /> <br />Council was inform,ed that there were only six members present at the <br />last meeting, and there were no minutes available. Mayor Caranci re- <br />quested that minutes be presented henceforth. <br /> <br />Mr. Percy Conarroe reported that the Advisory Board are to discontinue <br />after Comprehensive plan is adopted. Membership is optional. <br /> <br />A. Fire truck has been delayed. <br />B. Aquarius - No agreement <br />C. Dump truck - only 2 quotes available <br />D. Dog pound - CjLty of Lafayette requested participation in the construc- <br />tion of dog pound. We are having problems with Humane Society. <br />Total cost of pound $875. Total cost to Louisville $437.50. <br />Councilman King moved we join Lafayette in construction of dog pound; <br />our share $'37.50. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. All in favor; motion <br />carried. <br />E. Water Meters- Cost to meter non-metered users in the City; esti- <br />mate on cost of $200 per tap, approximately 800 to 900 to connect <br />and would cost $180,000. We could have a bond issue and pay back <br />in assessments or charge out-right to user. <br />Mayor Caranci suggested water meters be tabled until we can get <br />feeling of people. Councilman King suggested a work session to go over <br />available funding methods. Reported that the Water Committee found that <br />
