Amninistrator Wurl to come up with suggested means <br />of financing meters. <br /> <br />Mr. Bob Davis, executive director requested meeting with Council to dis- <br />cuss Urban Renewal program on February 10th. He also submitted a <br />request to vacate protion of Grant St. effected by park develop- <br />ment. Councilman King moved to authorize Attorney Morris to prepare <br />an Ordinance vacati.ng that portion of Grant Avenue between Spruce to <br />Walnut St. SecondE~d by Councilman Donovan. All in favor - motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Coullci1man' King< mo'Ted__to appoint eit; Admini.~tratC]r~ l.aon..Wur1 as tern,,;;, <br />porary executive Cc)unty director to the Housing Authority. Seconded <br />by Councilman Debol!:sk:L. All in favor - motion carried. <br /> <br />Correspondence.,from State Hiway Dept. stated volume of traffic at <br />Hiway 42 and 287 and South Boulder Road does not warrant signals at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Street light at Hiway 42 discussed with Lafayette. Administrator <br />Wurl stated they ~ould assume cost. <br /> <br />Requested delay or tableing of proposed business licensing Ordinance <br />until they have ti.me to discuss it at their next meeting. <br /> <br />Received letter from State Parks Department relating to our Grant. <br />Basically consideration of Grant by the State Parks Board will be <br />April 1st. Recommendation will go to Washington and are incorporated <br />in the proposed budget. Construction cannot be started until we have <br />been notified about the grant. Want to build the pool $14,000 in <br />excess of the bond issue. We anticipated in another section of the <br />Parks budget our providing the $7,000 to match the $7,000 of the <br />$57,000 Grant. We must decide soon whether we intend to build the pool <br />with or wihout the Grant. Should we decide to build without the grant, <br />we would have to eliminate the Park Development program, as well as <br />locating the funding of the $7,000 not provided for in the budget. <br />Once money is spE~nt we cannot use it to match the grant. <br /> <br />There were no COlllDlents <br />relating to Sewel~ Tap <br />adopt Ordinance #402. <br />all in favor. Mc)tion <br /> <br />on the Public Hearing on Ordinance #402 <br />fees and charges. Councilman King moved to <br />Councilwoman Scholl seconded. Roll call vote <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman King moved to adopt Ordinance #403 relating to Swimming Pool <br />Bond Issue. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call vote 5 in <br />favor _ Councilman Domenico casting a no vote. Motion carried. <br />
