At the last City Council meeting he brought up the issue
of public participation in the selection and evaluation of the City Manager and
believed he received an inappropriate response from the Mayor. He addressed
his complaint against Comcast and stated the City's share of the PEG fees were
not justified, while other requests required detailed reporting and noted Comcast
is operating in the City of Louisville for free. He requested a response from City
Council.
Councilor Muckle arrived to the meeting at 7:04 p.m.
COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON
THE AGENDA
City Manager Fleming responded to Mr. Sobel's statements and explained the
$60,000 PEG fees were used by the City to upgrade the City Council Chambers
to broadcast meetings for public viewing.
