<br />Matters from Members of the Public** <br /> <br />No matters from members of the public. <br /> <br />Director's Report <br /> <br />Copies of By-laws and Incorporating Documents from the LHA <br />Copies of the By-laws and incorporating documents for the Louisville Housing Authority were <br />requested by Steve. Both City of Louisville staff and BCHA staff will work to locate LHA <br />incorporating documents. Louisville Housing Corporation documents were included in the packet <br />for this month. By-laws of the LHA are included and were last updated in 2005. <br /> <br />American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Update <br />The weatherization funds from ARRA mean a higher production of weatherization units for the <br />2009-2010 production year. BCHA is working to weatherize between 800-900 homes. Frank <br />requested board members to continue to assist with marketing. <br /> <br />Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Funds- The Boulder County Housing Authority <br />was awarded $1-1.5 million starting October 1,2009. The funds can be used for families and <br />single individuals. Recipients must meet criteria to be awarded the funds. The funds can be used <br />for rent and utilities and can be used for longer than 4 months. Pat Critchfield is the Aging <br />services contact and will be notified of any updates. Pat will then communicate to Selena and <br />other agencies. <br /> <br />Regional HOME Consortium Update <br />The Boulder County/Broomfield County HOME and CDBG consortium is moving forward on a <br />5- year plan. HUD approved one plan for the region. The plan is to inform policy makers and <br />strategically inform the allocation of future federal affordable housing dollars. A draft of the plan <br />will be available September/October 2009. <br /> <br />Finance Report: Review of Julv 2009 financial statements <br />The Finance report is included in the board packet. <br /> <br />Resolution 2009-04 Regal Square Budget Resolution <br />A budget Resolution was passed in Fall 2008. The Lydia Morgan LIHTC property has a separate <br />tenant services line. Kris Durso's salary is divided up between the sites and $7,500 was never <br />included in the budget for Regal Square. <br /> <br />Terri motions to approve Resolution 2009-04. Callan seconds. All in favor. Approval of the <br />Resolution passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Property Management/Maintenance Report <br /> <br />Rent and Occupancy Update/ Monthly Rental Vacancy Report <br /> <br />Frank followed up on the question posed by Selena Jaramillo and Walt Oelkers regarding the <br />posting of the vacancy sign at Lydia Morgan.
