Information regarding these two alternative schedules is attached for your <br />review. Included is an outline of the alternative rate schedules for residential, non-residential, and multi- <br />family accounts. Also included is a distribution ofthe number of accounts that fall within the various <br />ranges of the proposed rate schedules and a calculation of the current annual bill as compared to the <br />annual bill for the proposed rate schedule for the average consumption within each type of account. <br /> <br />NOTE: All calculations for projected revenue and average annual bills are based on consumption <br />data for the three-year range from 19~)9 - 2001. This time period is prior to the current watering <br />restrictions. If the drought continues and watering restrictions remain in effect, projected <br />revenues will be significantly less than the projections included in this packet. Staff will deliver <br />additional information regarding projected revenues during drought conditions to Council on <br />Tuesday night. <br /> <br />This information is being distributed for your review and direction regarding the new water rates for <br />2003.
