Section 17: NE/4 Dear Ms. Boyd, Pursuant to our meeting, Public Service Company is interested in obtaining a 10 foot wide utility easement on property owned by the City of Louisville. The proposed easement is situated along the southerly boundary of the "southern parcel" of that parcel identified for roadway purposes as the extension of Bella Vista Road (see attached Exhibit "A') The easement is being requested in order to accommodate a new and improved underground electric distribution line that is necessary to serve the growing power needs of the City of Louisville. If the City of Louisville grants an easement to Public Service Company (PSCo), then PSCo could begin work on the job as early as December 2002. The entire job stretches from the intersection of Orchard Street & Cherry Street, thence easterly to Front Street (see attached Exhibit "B"). Most of the job will be done in street right-of-way. The portion of the job for which PSCo is requesting a utility easement, represents only 10% of the entire length of the new improved underground electric distribution line. Granting the easement to PSCo will help to minimize delays and congestion caused by crews working in the street right-of-way.
