Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREP ARA TION OF AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that at the April 28 Work Session, Council will meet with <br />the Planning Commission to discuss pedestrian crossings. Boulder County Days in Louisville will <br />be here on Thursday, April 23. Council will meet with the Boulder County Commissioners at 5:30 <br />p.m. at Karen's in the Country. He reported that Council has received an invitation from the Boulder <br />City Council to meet with them informally on May 27. The City has also received a development <br />application from Sam's Club to construct a 128,000 s.f. building on Parcel O. <br />~ <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Davidson reported that at 4 p.m. on April 22 at Harper Lake, he and the Mayor of Boulder will plant <br />a tree in honor of Earth Day. <br /> <br />Sisk reported that Senior Month will be celebrated with a luncheon on May 13 and invited <br />Councilmembers to attend. He hopes to have the 501(c)-3 non-profit status for the Senior Center <br />finalized by the May 5 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Levihn commented that he talked to Paul Wood, Director of the Planning/Building Departments, <br />who told him the City is experiencing difficulty finding Inspectors. Levihn noticed in the employee <br />newsletter that five people had resigned. He wondered why. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that they have not fully analyzed the reason; however, <br />much of the turnover is the result of people relocating. Simmons agreed to look into the matter. <br /> <br />Keany wanted a Work Session soon to discuss parking downtown and the possibility of forming a <br />parking district. <br /> <br />13 <br />
