The committee believes that this <br />building may be eligible for listing as an individual historic landmark pursuant to <br />Ordinance 1463, Series 2005. Therefore, the committee has referred the <br />demolition request to the full Historic Preservation Commission for a public <br />hearing. The demolition request can therefore to be stayed for up to 60 days <br />from the date of your application, in this case until September 21 , 2009 so as to <br />allow time for the public hearing. <br /> <br />Included for your review is a list of the determination by the committee that states <br />the reasons why the building may be eligible for designation. The reasons are as <br />follows: <br />. It was determined there was architectural integrity of the existing structure. <br />. It was determined there is historical social significance. <br /> <br />The Historic Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on your <br />demolition application on September 21, 2009. That hearing will be noticed in the <br />newspaper. At the hearing the Commission shall consider and base its decision <br />upon the following criteria: <br />1. The eligibility of the building for designation as an individual landmark <br />consistent with the purposes and standards in Ordinance 1463, Series <br />2005; <br />2. The relationship of the building as a potential contributing structure to a <br />potential historical district per the criteria set forth in Ordinance 1463, <br />Series 2005; <br />3. The reasonable condition of the building; and <br />4.
