Discussion of liability and maintenance
issues of an "adopt-a-tree" program to be continued next month.

Theresa reported that the Xeric Garden needs to be weeded this fall. Dean
reported that budget cuts may prevent a fall cleanup by the contract maintenance
crew.

Discussion of the absence of landscape maintenance at the former site of
Checkers Auto Parts at Cherry and McCaslin. Currently it is an eyesore, and
ordinances are difficult to enforce with no tenant and an absentee property
owner. One concern is that continued neglect will lower property values in
surrounding area.

City of Louisville
Parks & Recreation Department 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4735 (phone) 303.335.4738 (fax) www.cUouisville.co.us
