MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS FOR APPLICATION <br />FOR AN ALLOCATION OF THE RIGHT TO USE COLORADO -BID THOMPSON <br />PROJECT WATER TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE BY NORTHERN COLORADO <br />WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT 1ST READING SET PUBLIC HEARING 3/4/97 <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1250, Series 1997, "An ordinance to apply and contract for <br />beneficial use of water on behalf of the City of Louisville, Colorado, a municipal corporation, and <br />prescribing the terms for application for an allocation of the right to use Colorado -Big Thompson <br />Project Water to the City of Louisville by Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District." <br />Tom Phare, Public Works Director, stated that this is an agreement between the City of Louisville <br />and the NCWCD for Louisville to use 68 units of CBT water. He pointed out that once there is an <br />original ordinance /contract in place, you can contract for temporary use through Temporary Use <br />Permits. <br />Davidson called for Council comments or motions. <br />Howard moved that Council adopt Ordinance No. 1250, Series 1997, at first reading, set out for <br />publication, and set a public hearing for March 4, 1997, seconded by Levihn. All in favor. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1251, SERIES 1997 ZONING PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE KNOWN AS THE MOBLEY ANNEXATION 1ST READING SET <br />PUBLIC HEARING 3/18/97 <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1251, Series 1997, "An ordinance zoning property annexed <br />to the City of Louisville and known as the Mobley Annexation." <br />Sisk moved that Council adopt Ordinance No. 1251, Series 1997, at first reading, set out for <br />publication, and set the public hearing for March 18, 1997, seconded by Howard. All in favor. <br />DISCUSSION CONCERNING PLANS TO BUILD A TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER <br />ON CONTINENTAL VIEW <br />Sisk stated that the County had reviewed and conditionally approved a telecommunications tower <br />right outside Continental View on Lot 2. He was concerned about the effect it would have on the <br />residents, because it is right across from Louisville's city limits. <br />Sisk moved that Council request the City to prepare and authorize the Mayor to sign a letter <br />requesting a hearing before the County Commissioners regarding docket SPR 97 -007, an application <br />to place a telecommunications antenna at 211 Continental View, seconded by Mayer. <br />7 <br />
