ORDINANCE NO. 1242, SERIES 1996 AMENDING THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS CONTAINED IN CHAPTER 17.28 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO INCORPORATE INTO SUCH REGULATIONS SPECIFIC REFERENCES AND REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DESIGN GUIDELINES, TO SPECIFICALLY ADDRESS THE EFFECT OF APPROVAL OF A PRELIMINARY PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AND TO MAKE OTHER AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTERS 15.04, 17.16 AND 17.28 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH 2ND READING PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 11/27/97) CONTINUED FROM 12/17/96 MEETING RECOMMEND FURTHER CONTINUANCE TO MARCH 18, 1997, CITY COUNCIL MEETING Tanoue read by title only Ordinance No. 1242, Series 1997, "An ordinance amending the Planned Unit Development Regulations contained in Chapter 17.28 of the Louisville Municipal Code to incorporate into such regulations specific references and requirements concerning commercial and industrial development; to specifically address the effect of approval of a Preliminary Planned Unit Development Plan, and to make other amendments to Chapter 15.04, 17.16 and 17.28 of the Louisville Municipal Code in connection therewith." Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that a committee had been formed consisting of elected and appointed officials from Council, Planning Commission, City staff, and commercial property owners /developers, to make recommendations to improve the proposed guidelines. To allow the committee to preform its task, it was recommended that this be continued to the March 18, 1997 Council meeting. Howard moved that Council continue Ordinance No. 1242 to the March 18 Council meeting, seconded by Mayer. All in favor with Lathrop being absent. RESOLUTION NO. 6, SERIES 1997 AMENDING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR DAVIDSON HIGHLINE RENTAL CENTER Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant was requesting to add two storage facilities on Lot 1, a 30'x50' fully enclosed metal building, and a 25'x50' open equipment shelter. Planning Commission approved their Resolution No. 1, Series 1997, on January 14, 1997. Davidson pointed out that the "Davidson Highline" reference referred to the irrigation ditch behind the Rental Center and had no association with himself. Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. Steve Taylor, 2103 North Hwy. 42, Louisville, Colorado, representing Robert and Carol Lathrop, was there to answer any questions. 3
