Keany wanted a noise ordinance looked into for better enforcement. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />PRESENTATION CENTAURUS LITTLE LEAGUE <br />Tom Hessman, Player Agent for Centaurus Little League, 512 West Arrowhead Court, Louisville, <br />Colorado, thanked the City of Louisville for their support of Little League Baseball for more than 600 <br />children between the ages of seven and eighteen. He presented a plaque to the City of Louisville. <br />Davidson thanked all of the volunteer coaches for their many hours of volunteer time for all the <br />various sports in Louisville. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 17, SERIES 1997 AMENDING THE 1997 BUDGET BY INCREASING <br />REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL, CONSERVATION TRUST <br />LOTTERY, CAPITAL PROJECTS AND SEWER UTILITY FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 3/15/97) <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, reported that at the end of 1996 certain encumbrances remained open, <br />to be expended in 1997. The appropriations for these items require amendment of the 1997 Budget. <br />It is a total budget amendment of $233,490. <br />Davidson opened the pubic hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Resolution No. 17. <br />A <br />NONE <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council questions or motions. <br />Mayer moved that Council approved Resolution No. 17, Series 1997, amending the 1997,Budget for <br />1996 open encumbrances, seconded by Sisk: Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 0 vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO.. 18, SERIES 1997 DESIGNATING PART OF THE FUND BALANCE <br />OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF A <br />COMMUNITY PARK, AND FUTURE DEBT REDUCTION <br />Dianne Ray, Finance Director, stated that during the 1997 budget process the partial funding for a <br />community park was earmarked in the Capital projects Fund. In order to reserve these funds for the <br />specific project, a designation of the fund balance amount should be identified. This would increase <br />the existing designated amount of $100,000 to $200,000, to be used exclusively for the development <br />of a community park. <br />Davidson called for Council comments or motions. <br />3 <br />
